Since its coming to an end soon, its time to review and set some new heights for next year!

Recently revisit Vegas on a business trip.

It was an amazing experience.

Seems to kill every interesting factor that a person might have.

Have I somehow already lost myself in it? It’s kinda scary to think of, or rather a sudden realization might just awaken the inner me.

Stress with work in the weekdays. Stress with household chores in the weekend.

When is the last time I stopped and do something for me, myself and I? When is the last time that I did something that really interest myself?

When is the last time I laughed wholeheartedly without constrains..

Perhaps a holiday is in need.. A holiday alone? To anywhere.. To Nowhere…

With everywhere being so chaotic and natural disasters happening anytime anywhere… Where is a good place to go..

So many things yet to try and do… Feeling so little has been done so far really frustrates me.

I’m a free soul… I love to wander.. But now it just seems like being locked in a cage and all is lost.

Someone once told me that we only live once.. We should not stop moving forward… I’m beginning to feel it now…

Is it all worth it….

Are the efforts really been registered…..

05 December 2010 – Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore 2010!

Participated for like the 3rd or 4th year already? Can’t really remember.

Anyway, took part in the 21.1km half marathon. The route is kinda interesting this year with all the different categories starting at different points. The 42.195 runners started their race at 5am at Orchard Road. 21.1km runners started at 6:30am at the entrance of Sentosa and the 10km runners started at the usual Fullerton bridge I think? Ed participated in the 42.195 full marathon! Even though the two of us didn’t train for this run at all, we manage to complete it. (Me with lotsa walking!) Timing was really bad!!! But well… Been thinking whether I should still join next year. Hahaha…. Meanwhile already signed up for the sundown marathon 21km run next year. I must be really crazy…

Company D&D !!! This day seems like a really popular day for D&D.. At least 3 other companies that I know of are having D&D on the same day. We had ours at M Hotel, just 5 mins walk away from office. Food is not fantastic, but the people are really fun! Best D&D ever!!!! Simply love the company even more after the D&D..

As Ed’s bday falls on a weekday this year (or any other year), there will be usually a 2x celebration. Once on a weekend where time is more flexible and we can gauge our own time. The other will be on the actual day, mainly just dinner. Brought him to sky dining this year. Good that it’s the new cabin now, however, I still feel that it is kinda bumpy whenever we entered the individual stations. Best part of the dinner is…. Ed is okay with the food!!! Hahaha… Gosh I am so missing the dessert…

Something seems so common to 90% of the population might not happen on you if you do not ask for it?

But alas… Still at work. Been working late these days.. Need a massage really soon!

2010 have been an interesting year so far. Work life, married life, finally done with the degree course etc. Though at times I do feel that its quite hectic and might have pushed self alittle too hard. But at the end of it, its still very satisfying.

So… After slacking for around 2 months after the completion of my course, I signed up for another language course which will commence this Saturday! Seems like I really like to keep myself busy ya. Hehe.. I know I will definitely benefit from this one. Muahahaha…

I really enjoy my work now.. No doubt certain times there are frustrations, but the things I get exposed to is a great experience itself. Hopefully things will go as planned…

Anyway… Long weekend ahead, hope to catch up with family and start of my new course!

It seems so long yet not so long since my last post. Recently I felt that time really does flies!!

I have been in the new company for 5 months, shifted office to Tanjong Pagar, becoming more busy. Having my last semester in the degree program (Finally!)

Anyway, the corporate world is really full of politics. Not the normal office politics though. But the real business politics. But its good to be expose to all these, never ending learning route.

Last Friday, went to my 2nd Brother’s office opening. He always wanted to go into the particular industry. During his short speech to friends and relatives, I was touched, in fact my eyes become alittle teary by what he said.. It is nice to hear that he finally has the opportunity to do what he is really interested in and I do wish he will succeed in this.

Although after the session I felt alittle upset. Not because of anything in particular, but the realization that as siblings, we do not really have much time to get together and chat, to understand each other more… To know what’s going on in each of our lifes. Our dreams.. It was through hearing conversations between a third party and my elder brother to understand what he is doing at work.. The type of environment he is in etc.. It just seems like, you do not even know where you have missed out, or how could you have missed out on someone so dear to you.

Time is super tight lately. Been so tied up with work and assignments…

I’m looking forward to a long awaited break after my final submission date on 03rd Sept. After that, gotta make up for all the lost time with the family….

Just a slight update.

For the period I’m gone, I’ve switched job, became a ramen fanatic, growing fat! OMG.. Haha…

I just end one more semester of my bachelor programme. Only one more to go! Ganbatte!

It’s friday and yippie to a long weekend! Will be having a replacement off on Monday as well. Happy Happy! Most importantly, its also term break, so its almost Zero Stress! What shall I do? Planning to call Mum out for shopping. Shall see if she wants to entertain me. Wahaha..

I’ve had my record number of Ramen in the month of April 2010. I thk in total I had more than 10 bowls of ramen! 8 of the same flavor and the same restaurant! Bosses called me crazy. Seriously Ippudo at Mandarin Gallery is a flop in my view. I was so utterly disappointed.. While Nansuttei at Parco, Millenia Walk is a pleasant surprise. (8 times in 1 mth is really a record for me)

I’m actually blogging in office right now, quite amazed that wordpress is not being blocked by the company.
