Thumbs Down…. 2x

Not too sure if it’s because of the interest that I have in Marketing, it makes me look into the details of how companies/ stores are presenting themselves. I think Ed must be abit “irritated” by all my rantings!

Anyway, Eddie & I have always been those avid cafe patrons, there are quite a number of cafes in Singapore. We used to partonize Pacific Coffee Company quite frequently when Im with my ex company. Since its in town. But now, we only go to the cafe when we are really “free”. As in no movies for us to watch, or we purely wanna relax.

For the past 2 weeks, we went over to Vivo (as usual) during the weekends. Movie timing kinda weird for the past 2 weeks. Instead of the usual 2 - 3plus movies, we went for the 4 - 5plus ones. Thus, after lunch, there is still ample time to spare. Being lazy, and have the urge for a drink, we choose the one nearest to the cinema. We went over to Gloria Jeans.

Actually we don’t quite like Gloria Jeans. Had a try there some months back and the drink sucks.But, thinking that it was quite some time ago, we decided to give it another go. Thinking it might be better. Not to forget mentioning, they have the promotion of 1 for 1 coffee till 3pm. So, we went ahead for it. (Oh, maybe also because I have a $10 Voucher for Amex, but didn’t even get to use it) I can only say…. Service is yucky, presentation of the drink sucks more. I ordered the Mango Freeze (forgot the exact name), when I see Eddie bringing the drink over, I can only think of the word “disgusting”. There were like mango freeze in big chunks waiting to be spill over.

Last weekend, we were at Vivo again. One hour to our Movie and Ed have an urge for Coffee. Thus, we went over to Gloria Jeans again. For the sake of using up my voucher. We orders Mocha, Mango Freeze (again) and Orea Cheese Cake.

Again….. The Mango Freeze came in a horrifying state. Poor Picture Quality from my HTC TyTn II.

Ya get what I mean?

Ok, even if we didn’t want the cover, but the very least they could do is make it neater right? Sigh… Even the cheese cake is not up to standard at all. Its not even like a cheese cake! Its more like a milk cake! The Oreo taste like some sub-standard choco powder!

No way am I going back there again. Better walk further to Starbucks! Humph!

P.S: I actually emailed them on the experience. Will they reply? Ha…
